The Cylinder Blocks Set is a finely crafted Montessori material designed to introduce children to the
concept of dimensional variations. The set includes 4 wooden blocks and 20 knobbed cylinders,
each with a pencil-grip knob for easy handling. The blocks are rectangular prisms with concave
faces to help children grasp them securely. The surfaces are polished to a smooth, glossy finish,

Each block has 5 sockets into which the 20 cylinders fit. The cylinders are arranged to progressively
teach the child about size discrimination through the following variations:
- Block 1: The cylinders progress in height and diameter from small to large.
- Block 2: The cylinders progress in diameter from thin to thick, maintaining the same height.
- Block 3: The cylinders vary in height (from tall to short) and diameter (from thick to thin).
- Block 4: The cylinders increase in height (from short to tall) while maintaining the same diameter.
