Infant Coin Box

• Object Permanence: Helps infants understand that objects continue to exist even when out of sight, enhancing their cognitive development.

•  Hand-Eye Coordination: Encourages babies to place the coins into the box, improving fine motor skills.

• Focus and Concentration: The process of placing the coin and retrieving it from the drawer promotes attention and concentration in young children.

• Fine Motor Skills: Supports the development of dexterity as babies manipulate the coins and open the drawer to retrieve them.

To use the Infant Coin Box, the infant places a wooden coin into the hole at the top of the box. The coin momentarily disappears into the box, where it is hidden from sight, and reappears through the drawer. The child must open the drawer to retrieve the coin. This action helps reinforce their understanding of object permanence, as the coin appears and disappears, just like playing peek-a- boo. A baby who is still learning about object permanence will enjoy repeating this task over and over, refining their skills with each action. This repetitive play fosters both cognitive development and fine motor skills.

The Infant Coin Box is made from high-quality birch plywood, known for its beautiful grain, even texture, and durability. The coins and box are painted using eco-friendly, non-toxic paints in accordance with the universal Montessori colour code. This ensures that the toy is safe for children while supporting their learning through vibrant, appealing colours. To maintain the toy's quality, wipe it with a soft cloth. Do not soak in water to preserve the wood’s integrity.

Crafted by a skilled team with over 8 years of experience in creating premium educational toys, the Infant Coin Box is designed with attention to detail and care. Each piece is expertly made to be both durable and safe for young children to enjoy for years to come.
