The Coloured Gradation Series is a Montessori sensorial material designed to help children explore
the concepts of size gradation and colour through tactile manipulation and visual differentiation.
This set consists of 10 circles, 10 equilateral triangles, and 10 squares of increasing size (ranging
from 10 mm to 100 mm) in three different colours: red, blue, and yellow. Each set of
shapes—circles, triangles, and squares—progressively increases in size, allowing children to
experience gradual changes in both dimension and colour.
The material is made from coloured plastic that is precisely cut to the specified dimensions, ensuring
uniformity and durability. The pieces are neatly organized in 3 polished wooden boxes, each with
three compartments to separate the shapes by type (circle, triangle, square) and colour (red, blue,
yellow).
